Problem :

Current condition :
- Slow Internet connection
- Exponential monthly cost to provide higher speed Internet connection

Monthly cost : +/- Rp 800.000 (Eigh Hundred Thousand Rupiah), using TELKOM Speedy ADSL
With this condition :

If every computer use the same amount of bandwidth then each PC will have 7.68 Kbps (Equal to 0.98 KBps). This mean if one PC need to download 1 Mb of file, it takes about 17 minutes.
If only one PC connect, then it speed will be up to 384 Kbps (equal to 48 KBps). This mean if one PC need to download 1 Mb of file, it takes about 20 Second, or worse case 1 minutes.
However, another worse case, if one PC download from the internet, then it will use most of the bandwidth (eg. 300 Kbps), and the other 49 PCs will share 84 Kbps.

Constrain :

To upgrade Internet connection to higher speed, company might set higher monthly cost.
ADSL might only support download stream up to 384 Kbps.
Not every area support by Broadband Internet access (this connection support up to 3 Mbps)
Lease line, wireless or VSAT, might cost about Rp 15.000.000 (Five Teen Millions Rupiah) per month. For about 128 Kbps fix line.

Solution :

To solve internet connection problem, we need to add more bandwidth source to company. The solution for this problem, company need to do the internet load balancing and need to manage the bandwidth usage.
